Wenwen Cao, is a J.D. candidate at Brooklyn Law School, expected to
graduate in May 2027. She earned her Master of Law in Commercial Law from East China University of
Political Science and Law and her Bachelor of Law in Civil and Commercial Law from Shanghai
University of Political Science and Law. She passed China’s National Unified Legal Professional
Qualification Examination and previously worked in China as a trainee criminal defense lawyer.
Wenwen has experience in both litigation and transactional practice. She interned with The Legal Aid
Society’s Housing Practice, where she gained valuable litigation experience, and also worked at
Weidenbaum & Harari, LLP on transactional matters. She serves as an Article Editor for the Brooklyn
Journal of Corporate, Financial & Commercial Law. She is a native Mandarin speaker and enjoys skiing
in her free time.
