Congratulations to our client, Not On My Watch, Inc (NOMW) on the successful acquisition and construction closing of the Cornaga supportive and affordable housing project in Far Rockaway, NY! 🏠✨

This incredible project will provide much-needed supportive services to individuals with substance use disorders, those living with HIV, victims of domestic violence, youth aging out of foster care, and individuals exiting the incarceration system, including those experiencing homelessness. Thanks to an ESHHI grant from OTDA, NOMW will be able to offer essential services and support to help these individuals rebuild their lives and thrive in a safe and welcoming environment.

The Cornaga project consists of 92 units, 60% of which are designated as affordable units. The project is funded by a combination of sources, including from the New York City Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal (HCR), 9% LIHTC, New York Housing Trust Fund Corporation, and the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA).

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the development partners involved, including Brisa Builders, Unique People Services, Inc (UPS), and Community Supportive Housing (CSH) for their dedication and hard work in making this project a reality. Special thanks to Co-Managing Partner Juan C. Restrepo, Esq, who served as NOMW counsel throughout these process!

We are proud to be part of this transformative initiative and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on the community. 🌟
