Richter, Esq.'s precedent-setting victory on behalf of Community Association of the East Harlem Triangle (CAEHT) in the Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Judicial Department in the matter styled as Community Ass'n of the East Harlem Triangle, Inc. et al. v Reverend Calvin O. Butts III et al., case no. 2020-03456. CAEHT filed a complaint against its joint venture partner and others involved in the transaction alleging fraud and breach of fiduciary duty, among others claims, based upon defendants having concealed a $42 million offer from prominent African American real estate developer Don Peebles in order to sell the property to Extell Development for $39 million.
